Pav, rolls and Arabic bread: choosing the right bread for your menu

25 Oct 2026 · 3 min read · Food service · Bakers World, Jebel Ali

The bread on a plate says a lot about a kitchen. Here is a quick guide to the breads we bake and the dishes they suit, for cafes, restaurants, caterers and canteens.

Sliced bread

The everyday choice for sandwiches, toast and breakfast. We bake white sandwich, milk, brown, multigrain, wholemeal and premium brown loaves, plus a jumbo loaf for busy kitchens and catering. Wholemeal and multigrain suit health-minded menus. White and milk are the safe choice for children's lunchboxes and club sandwiches.

Bombay pav

Soft and fluffy, pav is made for pav bhaji, vada pav and other street-style dishes. It is sold as a pack of six and has a shelf life of two days, so it works best with frequent deliveries.

Bread rolls

Golden, soft rolls for burgers, sliders and sandwiches. A pack holds five rolls and keeps for two days. Burger buns are also available, so ask us if that is what you need.

Arabic bread

Traditional Arabic bread, baked soft and fresh for wraps, mezze and dips. It comes in 220 g and 500 g packs and keeps for three days.

Rusk

Milk rusk and premium rusk are baked with cardamom and made for dunking in tea. They keep for a year, which makes them a useful product for cafes that want an easy tea-time item. We also export rusk.

A simple way to choose

  • Sandwiches and breakfast: sliced bread
  • Pav bhaji and street food: Bombay pav
  • Burgers and sliders: bread rolls or burger buns
  • Wraps and mezze: Arabic bread
  • Tea time: rusk

You can see every pack and size on our products page. For how long each one lasts, read bread shelf life explained. When you are ready to order, get in touch.

Talk to the people who bake it. Tell us about your outlets and we will come back with a product list and a delivery plan.
